My Dentist Who Lives By Mask Is Sick of Masks. Bless Those in This World Who Make a Living Digging In Our Mouths

I outdid yesterday with a little magic. Not only did I have a 14-hour day, but I was able to be in three locations at one for 90-minutes. As I ran PD for CT teachers, I also monitored an episode of The Write Time both on Facebook and in the  NWPTeacher Studio. This is a bit outrageous, but somehow I did it.

Okay, Friday. TGIF.

I am spending the morning answering emails, putting out fires, and making sense of all the world I missed as I lived in the world both in person and as a simulacra of my self (that's the power of pre-recorded work). Project Manager meeting at 9 a.m. - um, what's that? There's no link or location, but I'm supposed to be there. Well, I'm preparing an apology because I won't be in attendance.

As for the lawn care company who sprays so I have greener lawn, I'd appreciate if you shut my gates.

In the middle of it last night's chaos, Karal got out and ended up in my neighbors backyard. As if I didn't have enough going on from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m., I was also rounding up a dog who got out....Stop video is a great feature.

Ai Ai Ai. You'd think I'd learn my lessons.

But I will echo my dentist. "Enough is enough. Stop being stupid. Let's get all of this in the rearview mirror." He was chagrined because his Fall trip to the Galapagos Islands was cancelled for a 3rd time. Why? Well, you can guess.

Mary Lineberry, an incredible science teacher I had the fortune to know through my Beargrass Creek Task Force work and for a few wonderful years at the Brown School, used to say, "It's always been a battle between humans and viruses. We will see who wins." I always thought that was scary and cynical, but now I see what she was implying. Humans are so stupid.
