As it is also my year for the colonoscopy, I thought I'd better start writing about this guy, especially as I want to present him to my doctor to say, "Yes. I think it is time. This is a photo I took last week. I think it was the result of my hernia surgery and the medicines they gave me." Senecot. Oh, Senecot.
Yesterday...a semi-productive day. Did my first round of campus service with multiple people in masks in a building where the air condition conked out. Give the heat, humidity, and those masks. Well, this is going to be a very interesting semester. Keep the eyes on the reality folks. I will just wait to do what I'm told, and hope hope hope that my students vote for online preference, as I'd much rather be on ZOOM with full faces than in a stuffy room in a mask. We shall see. Maybe a little of both.
Of course, after last night's Ida-visit...I am wondering if Noah's Arc is simply going to arrive, pick up Karal, and leave me to drown.
It's okay. If this is, indeed, my colon, I will survive both on land and in water (now there's a horror film).
Okay Thursday. Bring it on!
